According to the Real Academia Española, happiness: “Is the state of pleasant spiritual and physical satisfaction.” All human beings aspire to have that level of well-being for most of their lives, that’s why even the UN has recognized the value of the concept declaring March 20 International Day of Happiness. In its resolution, the organization indicates that the goal is "to recognize the importance of happiness and well-being as universal aspirations of human beings and the importance of their inclusion in government policies.”
